Useful first workflows
Replace every bracketed value. Prompts are examples, not promises that your AI has every required integration.
Trade from your Agent Vault
These need a vault and its private link added to your AI. Your vault limits apply to every request. A vault holds tokens as USDC, WETH and cbBTC, so "ETH" means WETH inside the vault.
Check before trading
Show my vault status: balances, my limits and how much I have spent today. Do not trade.
Uses vault_status. It is free and places nothing.
Buy on a dip
Buy 100 dollars of ETH if it drops to 2,500.
Your AI places a limit order with vault_limit_order: it sells 100 USDC for WETH at a price of 0.0004 WETH per USDC, which is 2,500 USDC per ETH. The order rests on CoW Protocol until the market reaches your price or it expires. Ask it to show the price and the expiry before it places the order. The 100 USDC must fit your per-trade limit and your daily budget.
Take profit
Sell 0.05 ETH for USDC if the price reaches 3,000. Cancel the order after 7 days.
Also a limit order. For a sell, the price is how many USDC you want for one ETH.
Trade now, with a slippage cap
Swap 50 USDC into ETH now. Accept at most 0.5% worse than the current quote. Tell me why you chose this size.
Uses vault_trade. Every order carries a short reason from your AI. You see it in your activity feed.
What a refusal looks like
Swap 300 USDC into ETH now.
If your per-trade limit is 100 USDC, the vault refuses and the AI reports the rule, for example "This trade is 300 USD; your per-trade limit is 100 USD." Nothing was traded. Ask your AI to split the amount only if you want that.
Review and stop
Show my recent vault activity with the reason for each order. Cancel any open order older than 3 days.
Uses vault_activity and vault_cancel. To stop everything, ask for vault_pause, or press Pause agent on your dashboard. Your AI cannot resume trading. You can.
Check a wallet
Show the Base balances of [wallet address]. Separate tokens without a reliable USD value. Show when you checked. Do not trade.
Uses portfolio. List API price: $0.02. This is a current balance view, not a historical tax report or a guarantee that every token is safe.
Prepare a swap
Compare 0.01 ETH to USDC on Base. Show expected output, minimum output and fees. Prepare a route for [wallet] only after I ask. Never submit it for me.
Uses swap_quote ($0.005) and optionally swap_route ($0.01), with a separate swap fee. Native ETH routes are simulated and require the source wallet to have funds. ERC-20 route simulation is not supported. Routes expire quickly; prepare a fresh route immediately before wallet review.
To swap across chains, ask for a crosschain_quote. It is free, returns a review link and no transaction data, and you sign on Trade.
Set a limit order for yourself
Prepare a limit order to sell 0.5 ETH for USDC on Base at 3,200 USDC per ETH, valid for 30 days. Give me the review link. Do not place it.
Uses limit_order_prepare, which is free and returns a link to the prefilled form. You review the fee and minimum received, then sign in your own wallet. Ask for order_status with the order ID to follow it.
Preview an automation
Preview a recurring buy of 25 USDC into ETH every week for 8 weeks. Show the maximum exposure and the schedule. Do not create it.
Uses automation_preview, which is free and creates nothing. You create reserve refills, split trades and recurring buys on the Automations page and sign each part in your wallet when it is due.
Watch operating funds
Alert my HTTPS webhook [URL] if the Base USDC balance of [wallet] falls below 100 USDC. Monitor for 7 days. Show the exact cost before creating it.
Uses watch_create, where available. One item for seven days costs $0.07 before discounts. Your receiving service verifies the webhook signature and sends any Slack, email or Telegram notification; Beamswap does not send those messages automatically. Treat the watch ID as private because it permits reading and cancellation.
Prepare a community reward run
Turn this approved reward list into two columns named address and amount. Keep addresses and decimal amounts exact. Flag duplicate or invalid rows. Show the recipient count and total. Do not invent addresses or change allocations.
No Beamswap API payment is needed to format a file. Review it in the recipient importer. Creating the distribution costs $50 before discounts, followed by owner approval, funding, opening claims and sharing the link. Default factory funding fee: 0.1%. Funding must cover the full allocation after that fee.
For a repeat payout, use Start from a previous distribution on the same page. Beamswap shows the added and removed wallets and the changed amounts, and you confirm you reviewed them. Details.
Help a recipient
Read distribution [ID]. Explain its deadline and how I can claim through its hosted page. Do not ask for my private key.
Uses distribution_get, which is free. Recipients use their own wallet on the hosted claim page. Agent proof retrieval costs $0.001; the hosted page has a free proof route.
Ideas that are not shipped
Enforced per-task budgets for AI payments beyond the spending controls, a treasury morning brief, refund campaigns with reconciliation, milestone grant releases, escrow, yield products and fully autonomous payout decisions are product ideas. Today's tools can help prepare parts of them. There is no verified task oracle or historical accounting engine in the current release. See What is next.
