# Legacy: P2P Token Swap

Beamswap token swap sustains peer-to-peer trading on the Moonbeam network. It’s enabled through automated market-making (AMM) protocol and requires sufficient liquidity to execute transactions.
To swap your crypto assets, go to [app.beamswap.io/exchange/swap](https://app.beamswap.io/exchange/swap).
In the “Exchange” panel on the right, select the token you’re swapping (“From”) and the token you want to swap it for (“To”).
Enter the amount of tokens you want to purchase.
Review the Exchange Rate and click “Approve \[asset]”.
Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Once the swap is done, you can view the new balance in your wallet and check your transaction on the [Moonbeam Chain Explorer](https://moonscan.io/).
